Good Day Industry Stakeholder

We are delighted to let you know that the Drone & Unmanned Aviation Conference – the biggest drone technology event in Southern Africa – is back for its first edition in 2024.

The event has been scheduled for the 6th and 7th of June 2024 at out world-class venue partner, the Emperors Palace Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

It brings together a community of drone professionals from the broad ecosystem of industries - including agriculture, mining, construction, healthcare, insurance, energy and power generation, oil & gas, maritime, sewers, cement, and more – to exchange best practices and steer the best ideas relevant to the future development of the commercial drone industry.

This time, we will be bringing more international experts whose experiences and insights will help you get a deeper understanding of how to implement and adopt the drone-based solutions into your everyday organisational operations. There have also been new developments in the industry that have taken place since the last event, and we will also be discussing them.

Other benefits to expect include:
• Meeting fellow professionals, technology experts and drone pilots and expanding your network of industry contacts and develop new business opportunities
• Getting first-hand experience with all the drones on display at the conference, learning about their applications and watching them fly live on Demo Day. The Conference will provide you with networking and bilateral opportunities, showcase the breadth of existing technologies, ongoing research and development in the world of commercial drones
• Learning about current and upcoming innovations and discovering how drone technology can shape the future of your industry: Get to grips with commercial and non-commercial activities in this rapidly evolving sector of the aviation industry.

The Drone & Unmanned Aviation Conference will bring together key stakeholders from industry, academia, government and international organisations in all aspects of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and autonomous aviation; to exchange research, best practices, lessons learned and respective challenges. Attention will be given to ongoing developments related to UAS, which need to be addressed collectively in order to facilitate their integration into the global aviation system.
