TRANSNATIONAL ORGANISED CRIME PREVENTION
Date: 20 Oct 2026
to 21 Oct 2026
Venue: Indaba Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa
Organised Crime is complex and multifaceted, affecting peace, security and development worldwide. Combating this threat requires international and transnational cooperation, strong law enforcement and effective governance structures.
Under the theme, "Securing Borders Across Land, Air, Sea and Cyber by Intensifying Multilateral & Hi-Tech Cooperation," the conference will focus on disrupting the top three tiers of the illicit value chain by strengthening intelligence-led collaboration, border security, technology-driven interventions, and coordinated enforcement strategies.
The conference comes at a critical time. Across Africa, an estimated US$90 billion—equivalent to approximately 3.7% of the continent's GDP—is lost annually through illicit financial flows.
Leading national and international speaker organisations include:
Pan African Resources, the High Court of South Africa, Australian Federal Police, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (Department of Homeland Security), National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), Border Management Authority (BMA), Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI/Hawks), South African Banking Risk Information Centre (SABRIC), Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) and.
