Francis Kimeze, a former Ugandan rebel soldier, wished to enter into a plea bargain, the Western Cape High Court was told on Friday. Povlsen's widow Maria and her sister Stella Ssengendo plan to plead not guilty. The sisters were denied bail in 2008. The State also had prima facie evidence that the women helped to clean up the murder scene. The three will remain in custody until the trial begins on February 22.
