Communication
Our aim is to ensure access by the client at any level of our company, 24 hours per day.
In order to achieve this, we offer the following: -
• A Fully operational twenty four-hour control room.
• Management and Inspectors are available 24 hours on their cellular phones.
• Reaction Officers are available 24 hours in their vehicles, on radio.
• Two-way radios on all sites and vehicles linked to our 24 - hour control room.
By offering these levels of communications, we are ensuring exceptionally high levels of
response time.
Training & Recruitment
All staff is recruited by CIVILIAN FORCE and training is done through our accredited Training Academy.
We are accredited to do the following training:
Grade E-A, Retail and Armed Response. All candidates must have a minimum of Standard eight education and are required to undergo a mathematical and literacy test with a pass mark of 80 %. Candidates are fully vetted and screened by our Recruiting Officer. All candidates are required to undergo a preemployment polygraph test. Once all qualifications are met and following completion of
criminal and background checks as well as proper reference checks, the candidate is
then appointed.
All employees are duly registered with the Security Industry Regulatory Authority (P.S.I.R.A).
Guarding Division
Our guards work 12-hour shifts, from 06h00 to 18h00 dayshift and from 18h00 to 06h00
nightshift. Guards have two to three rest days per week, as per S.I.R.A regulations.
All staff members are covered by a Funeral policy and Provident Fund.
In the event of guard absenteeism, a suitable replacement is selected from our reserve
force.
In the often-lonely world of security, it is important that staff receive visible and active support and backing. The quality of a guards work and morale will only be maintained at a consistently high level if he is provided with adequate and skilled supervision and can rely on Management support, with further access to a senior member of staff in times of need.
Our supervisory goals include regular and impromptu visiting of guards; thereby ensuring
they are alert and avoiding complacency. In addition our managers and directors carry out ongoing visits to each site to advise on all aspects of security.
We provide at least one inspection from trained inspectors during the course of the night and over weekends, at different times, with additional surprise visits. Number of visits are increased during high risk periods, ie. Holiday periods,
An acceptable working environment is important for staff morale and for this reason the client is requested to supply adequate facilities for our staff. Detailed job descriptions will be compiled in conjunction with the client, for all security personnel placed at the client’s premises prior to the contract commencing. Individual on-thejob-training will be given to all the personnel with regard to the job specifications.
